Broken out of the box is the ability to scale the remote desktop to fit the window:

- Scale button on toolbar
- Session > Scale Remote Screen to Fit Window Size


Cause: ~/.config/krdcrc setting has "scaleFactor=100" as default which for some reason breaks the scaling


Solution: Settings > Configure Toolbars... ADD Scaling Factor
